In 2016, I was 22 years old, not quite a year out of college, working a 9-5 office job, without a clue in the world as to what I was gonna do with my life. I hadn't touched an instrument in over 5 years, and my only creative endeavors were lofty ideas with no basis in reality. I was unhappy (depressed) and didn't have much attaching me to the world (and my life). I'll admit, I was close to ending it all. It was at that moment I gave myself an ultimatum, and that if I was gonna live, I was gonna live my life for something I truly believed in. And when I asked myself what was something I truly believed in, one answer came to me “ART”. In all forms that Art takes.
It was then that I packed up my car and drove across the country with a dollar and a dream. To believe that I could find a place for my ideas to be fostered and become tangible. And for the last 9+ years, I've been on a mission and journey to not only bring my ideas into the world, but to help facilitate and provide opportunities for others to do the same.
I've worked with non profits and have worked with companies and organizations such as The Creative Collective, Group.BR, The Greenpoint Gallery, Planet X (and Tanduay), IndigoSouNYC, HBO, Funkadelic Studios, Cobra Club, Los Depressos Studio, worked with countless independent artists, and started organizations and projects such as aCreatorsCollection, CreatefromSelf, Multimedia Mixtapes, and mybeautifuleyez. And I can't wait to see what's next.
