Six Traits of an Entrepreneur (and an Artist) (Same thing)

Gino Wickman’s (Entrepreneur, Author, etc.) 6 traits of an Entrepreneur:

  1. Visionary
  2. Passionate
  3. Problem Solver
  4. Driven
  5. Risk-Taker
  6. Responsible (Takes Responsibility)

If these adjectives/personality traits fit you, chances are, you might just be an Entrepreneur (or at least one in the making).

But if I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. An Artist and An Entrepreneur (/Solopreneur) are essentially the same thing. The only thing that changes is what they are selling, and the stakes in which they are selling it (and even that is pretty arbitrary).

Both see a need to be fulfilled in the world/their lives and create something (an idea, a product, a project, a solution, etc) to fill that need. Unknowing how that “something” may be received.

So, if you view yourself as a passionate, driven, person who sees change(s) you want to make, and you take responsibility to figure out how to make that change regardless of whether or not it may work.

You might just be an Artist.
